The weekly summary is here. A week of storms that dropped over 2 feet of snow ended on Thursday 1/12 as a high pressure system moved into the valley complete with daytime highs in the upper 30’s and even lower 40’s. Saturday evening looks to be the transition into the next stormy period.

Accompanying this wind loading were some impressive natural avalanches and a lingering wind slab problem as we move into the weekend.
